We want to remove as many barriers as possible for anyone who wants to discover the same joy that so many other quilters have found for decades. We believe the price of software can be a barrier for some, so we have committed to one that supports our efforts, and also our desire to welcome future quilt designers and makers.
BloqLoft gives you the tools you need.

Fabric is Life!
BloqLoft’s fabric library comes prepared out-of-the-box with well-known solids installed. And when you’re ready to add your own favorite collections from photos you’ve taken or image files you’ve saved, BloqLoft makes it easy, and even provides auto-generated palettes for you based on the colors in the collection you imported.
Any fabric collection you import will be rendered as hi-fidelity materials in both block and quilt editors, so you can see just how great your creation will be in real life.

Block building, fast.
BloqLoft provides more than 100 block templates out of the box you can start with, or you can simply begin with a blank canvas. Block patterns you create are saved to your Block Library which is inside Block Studio.
The Block Editor has features that make your life easier: autosaving your edits, automatically-updated fabric calculators, no matter your block size, automatically-generated fabric collection palettes, resizing, duplication, and being able to quickly generate a quilt from a number of different places in your design process.

Quilt design made easy
Bring your block patterns together into one cohesive (or chaotic, you do you) beautiful design. BloqLoft stays out of your way, letting you play and discover new avenues of design joy.
The Quilt Editor, like the Block Editor, tracks your edits and autosaves in the background, letting you focus on your creative process. Save any snapshot of a quilt design along the way - when you’re at a stopping point, you can view all the full snapshots in your Quilt Studio library. Switch between standard and on-point with ease, resize to well-known, common sizes, save a copy of each one to compare later. All of these and more to make quilt designing just flow!
Everyday features.
We built BloqLoft for fabric lovers, block designers and quilt makers young and old alike, with features that help you bring your ideas to life.
Hi-fidelity fabric pattern rendering
We made sure fabric patterns shine so as you design you can really see the beauty of your creations!
We do the math for you
Generate a materials estimate any time you want while you’re designing a block pattern or a quilt.
Your choice: light mode or dark mode
Light/dark mode can either be set to follow your device settings, or choose to have one or the other on at all times.
Exploded view helps show how it’s made
Sometimes we just need a little bit more clarity. Exploded view does that, using the averaged color of the fabric fills you’ve chosen in order to make it easier to see.
Built-in fabric solids
We have included solids fabric collections from well-known manufacturers so you can start creating with BloqLoft on Day 1.
Cutting diagrams for any design you create
BloqLoft has a built-in cutting diagram engine that you can reference at any time in your design process. WOF can be adjusted on the fly, and seam allowance is based on your personal settings.
Generate your own coloring pages
Create a coloring page for any block pattern or quilt design and print it out for those days you need to just "get off of technology for a bit".
Native. Fast. Built for iPad.
BloqLoft runs on Apple’s native frameworks for speed, low memory use, and battery life. Not browser-based, not plugin-enhanced, no waiting for the computer to “catch up”.
macOS version coming soon!
Human creativity, not ai duplicity.
We believe that a core part of being human is being creative. We are born makers, dreamers, inventors.
BloqLoft was built with you, the human, in mind. Our features are built to support your creative process, not replace it.
